Legendary Pokémon

Here's a game I saw yesterday and found it pretty cool. A 3x3 grid of Pokémon is posted, Pokémon in each row and column are related in some way, the players have to guess these relations. Once all are found, next grid.

Example:



1: Gen I starters
2: Gen II starters
3: Gen III starters
A: Grass-type starters
B: Fire-type starters
C: Water-type starters

But of course it won't be that easy.

So, here we go:



1: Different ability than the rest of the "family" - dunsparce
2: Ground-types - dunsparce
3: Gen III Pokémon - Arty2
A: Claws - dunsparce
B: Bug-types - dunsparce
C: Evolve into Dragon-types - dunsparce

found it, what do I win? ;P

Correct on 2, A, B and C. While the other two are not wrong, they are not the relations I'm looking for.

So, 1 and 3 are still open.

Oh, thought you'd say something about 3vs3 battles. :PPP /fail

edit: 1:Vigoroth, Cascoon and Seadra are the only Pokémon who lose their pre-evolution's ability, then regain it upon evolution to their final form.

That's what I had, apparently 1 is wrong, hm

Edit: Are they 50-50 Male/Female? Does their dex number end with a seven?
