Well,to be honest,things were kinda better as a noob. I had no idea of EVs,IVs etc. and I just trained my pokes. I still remember the good ol' days of Ruby (my 1st pokemon game) and I will never forget my 1st team:

Shiftry
Walrein
Manectric
Claydol
Xatu
Around Diamond and Pearl,when I learned about IVs,EVs,move breeding and the rest,I had no one to play with because they all "grew up" and it was boring. But one day I decided to play my Pokemon Diamond and I remebered the old,good days. However,after a while,I stopped. Same story with Platinum and SoulSilver. I hope things change now with Black and White.
To stay on topic,I traded a Rayquaza for a Mudkip.

When I first started playing Pokemon my Swampert never fainted . But one dark day, 1 guy asked me too battle him. It was my first battle with another person. I was winning but then... A Registeel appeared... I hadn't seen this Pokemon before...
It had the nickname "RegiS" and I din't know its type! A Final Battle... Registeel Vs. Swampert. Swampert used Hydro Pump! It's not very effective! Registeel attacks! And then... Swampert used Mud Shot!!! Regi fainted! I was the winner. And then... He challenges me again. First a Blastoise. My Manectric zapped it. Then Regirock. Manectric fainted. Swampert Enter. Hydro Pump and it faints. Rayquaza appears! I WTFed... But when i was choosing my move, its GBA's battery end. And this battle never ended
My Swampert was invicible! But some months later, I was trying to clone my Pokemon and I accidentally made a new game!
Poor Swampert.
Hey Dunsparce! I had a Feraligatr and Tyranitar too! I also got a blissy up to Lv88. I recall going on the S.S. Anne a lot to level up.

And how is Hydro Pump not very effective against Registeel ?

It wasn't very good option against it. It had regular effect but it didn;t do very damage. And yes it sounds epic but it was just a regular battle in my noobs days xD Swamperts's Moveset: Strenght, Hydro Pump, Mud Shot and Muddy Water. Epic

ONe thing i don't like in wi-fi battles that they make all your pokemon 100 lvl i beleve it has to be same lvl as in game
i member why i remember gold that young it was beta test game! It glitch at the pizzle so i had to send backT_T(my freind was spose to beta tet it but he decided to let me.)

Actually no, making all the Pokemon the same level balances out the game.
And makes people not bother to level them up to 100. It's kind of annoying, if you wanna play a battle via local wireless, others have Pokémon of different levels, making it almost impossible.
Noob days, huh? Hyper Beam, Blizzard, Fire Blast and Thunder on anything that can learn them.
My Charizard: Flamethrower/Fly/Fire Blast and one Fire move. xD
My Infernape: Close Combat, Ember (
), Flame Wheel and Flare Blitz.
When i played Sapphire, my Sceptiles moveset was Leaf Blade, Fury Swipes, Quick Attack and Aerial Ace.
