Well, my favorite pokemon would have to be Tyranitar, because, um... Tyranitar is the exact opposite of my favorite Legendary, Lugia.
Rock ->beats-> Flying
Dark ->beats-> Psychic
I like Lugia because it/he/she is the only pokemon to learn Aeroblast, which looks cooler than ever on Emerald.

One of my favorite Pokémon is Gardevoir. Another is Ariados. Another is Forretress. Xatu...Gengar...Gligar. I basically have one Pokémon I like a day. xP
My favorites are Absol, Crobat, and Manectric.
Oh, geez, that's a hard question now. I stopped liking Pokemon for a while, before the second and third generations came around I think. I got back into it after R/S were released I think. So I really only know of the first generation of Pokemon. I don't know about enough of the current Pokemon to really have a favorite.
I really love Jumpluff and Vileplume! I don't know why exactly, but they're my favorites!
Hum... it may be 'cause:
They're grass-typed;
Jumpluff is the best pokémon for using a sleep move (very fast and sleep powder has a good accuracy);
Jumpluff is the only flying that learns Helping Hand;
Vileplume can heal itself and the others with Moonlight and Aromatherapy!
I also like Plusle and Minun, their friendship is very nice, as well their abilities in battle.
i love sceptile. it has the highest speed of all the grass types and the 3rd highest sp. attack. treecko is also one of my most favorites, being the first grass type in the pokedex to beable to use focus punch, a must for my sceptiles and treeckos.
