Since the past 2 gens were kinda boring for me,this time I feel like making a good team to battle on the Battle Subway and have a few Wi-Fi battles.

Ferrothorn
Relaxed@Focus Sash/Rugged Helmet
Steel Thorns
252 HP/252 SpD/4 Def
Spikes
Gyro Ball
Leech Seed
Thunder Wave

A mainly Special Wall that can deal with Physical Attacks. Can set up Spikes,Thunder Wave and Leech Seed for annoyance, Gyro Ball as an offensive move.

Hippowdon
Impish@Leftovers
Sand Stream
252 Atk/252 Def/4 Speed
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Stealth Rock
Slack Off

Physical Tank and lead that sets Sandstorm and Stealth Rock. Can cause some damage with EQ and Ice Fang,Slack Off for recovery.

Tyranitar
Sand Stream
Jolly@ Babiri Berry
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed
Rock Slide
Crunch
Fire Punch
Dragon Dance

Another pokemon that can set up Sandstorm in case Hippowdon faints and the weather is changed and another sweeper. It also gets a X1,5 boost in Special Defence from Sandstorm, which is nice.

Garchomp
Sand Veil
Adamant@ Brightpowder
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Fire Fang
Swords Dance

Can pull a Swords Dance most of the time easily thanks to lots of envasion. After that, straightforward sweeping.

Gengar
Levitate
Modest@Choice Scarf
4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Speed
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Sludge Bomb
Focus Blast

This, along with Tyranitar, was the inspiration for the team. Gengar takes Grass,Ground,Bug and Fight attacks for Tyranitar and Tyranitar takes Psychic,Ghost and Dark attacks for Gengar. Here we have an average Scarfer, exept for the fact that I don't feel like breeding for Hidden Power Fire or Ice.

Excadrill
Adamant@Life Orb
Sand Throw
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed
Earthquake
Rock Slide
X-Scissor
Swords Dance

GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

X2 Speed at Sandstorm and X1,3 Power at the attacks thanks to Life Orb. Get Sandstorm, send this bad boy (or girl; I don't know yet) out, sweep 'till you drop.

So this is my team. Feel free to make suggestions and say what you think about it!
Hey Terraplant nice team you have there.

This team's worst nightmare is Shanderra, Ghost/Fire just rips your team apart and it can even carry HP Fight for your Tyranitar, Shadow Ball takes care of Gengar, Flamethrower/Fire Blast takes care of Doryuzuu and Nattorei, Swampert will probably be 2HKO'd by a Shadow Ball so it can't switch-in on it.

It can be revenge killed by Doryuzuu but whatever.

I haven't played in the Gen 5 metagame yet so i can't suggest anything to counter Shanderra. [It technically can't be countered since it has access to Shadow Tag..]

Also, why do you have a Focus Sash on Nattorei with it's awesome defenses ? I suggest Leftovers or even Rugged Helmet, it'll drive the foe insane with Sandstorm damage, Rugged Helmet damage and it's ability.. AND Leech Seed, goddamn that's nasty. And i also suggest Swords Dance > Metal Claw on Doryuzuu and Life Orb / Leftovers > Choice Band w/ an Adamant nature and little speed [96-104 can be used, put more to outspeed Scarf'd pokes if you want, especially Shanderra] to outspeed most things in Sandstorm, running max speed is redundant. Drop the leftover EVs in HP.

I also think that a Shadow ball from Gengar will do the job.

I havent played in a metagame at all xD.

Thanks for the advice. As I said before,I have no knowledge of the metagame,so any advice is appreciated.

I'll edit the OP to include possible changes.
Yeah, even without playing Gen V metagame i'll bet Choice Scarf Shanderra will be popular, that's when i realized YOUR Gengar was holding a Choice Scarf.. didn't realize that. xD

Still though, Shanderra's a huge threat to your team.
Unfortunately,it is. Should I remove a pokemon to add a counter?
Yeah, and I'd remove Gengar.

Oh, and also, why Fire Fang and Rock Slide on Tyranitar ? If this is a Scizor-lure, then use Fire Punch > Fang and Stone Edge > Rock Slide and EQ > Crunch to hit Metagross as well.
Well,I thought it could get Fire Fang only, and I prefer accuracy and PP to Power. I could make Crunch Earthquake.

EDIT:I also don't see why to remove something that can kill Shanderaa for something else that can kill Shanderaa.
Oh.. i actually forgot about the Gen 5 Pokemon. Toungue

I was talking about being able to hit Metagross before it could set up.
You can hit Metagross with Fire punch so keep Crunch because of Stab and of so many Ghosts introduced in this Generation.
I would wait a while before the metagame is kinda stabilized and then build a team, not the other way around.
But it's fun building a Gen V team, GS. Toungue Even without playing the actual metagame.
^ This, plus, this is probably the only time where your creativity gets to shine. After the metagame has stabilized, you're pretty much picking Pokémon from Smogon's analyses, not building your own.

About the Focus Sash on a Nattorei lead, I believe it's still useful despite the fact that its Defenses are good. Judging by what I've seen in many speculation threads about the future metagame, Zoroark leads will be really common, faking another classic lead (like, say, Metagross). And all Zoroark leads will carry Flamethrower. So, say you're facing a Metagross, try to set up some Spikes since it can't really hurt and suddenly, Flamethrower out of nowhere. And let's not forget the already common Gen IV leads like Infernape and Azelf which carry a Fire-type move.
seems like a good combo to me. ofcourse i do not know the first thing of competative battles D:. i would use this team. with ur purmission and i would cred you
Thanks a lot. I have no idea of competitive battles either, but I thought of the Tyrannitar/Gengar combo and then the rest oft the team just happened.
I did some research on Smogon, and here are the results:

Doryuuzu is a meta-defying pokemon. It is suggested to play with Max Speed in order to speed-tie with other Doryuuzus and the suggested set is Swords Dance,Rock Slide,Earthquake,Return/Shadow Claw/X-Scissors/Rapid Spin. For the last slot I feel like using one of the first 3,since I don't fear Stealth Rocks.

Nattorei is pretty much the same, but with mixed defences and Explosion instead of Thunder Wave. Personally I prefer Thunder Wave.

Also, there are no tiers in the metagame right now. I hope this changes when we get Black and White.
