As the name might suggest, I got into Pokemon during the first generation. I was in my early 20s at the time, and believe it or not several of my friends were heavily into it as well. Just goes to show the broad appeal Pokemon once had. We spent countless hours in my garage battling each other on Stadium, as well as playing the Game Boy games on the Dodrio Game Boy, max speed. I don't think we ever did catch all of the original 150, but we did put together a sweet team of six level 100 Mewtwo with different attacks.
Then, when the next generation came out, I went from being a highly educated Pokemaniac to a guy who suddenly had a lot to learn in order to stay current. I figured it was a good time to quit cold turkey. It was getting to the point where Pokemon was taking time away from other video games.
So I never played any of the Game Boy games after that, but recently I dug up all my old Pokecrap and started to get back into it. I made a bold move and erased the data from all my cartridges in order to start from the very beginning. I don't regret that choice, but I wish I had taken one last look through all my old Pokemon before I erased them.
My goal is to finish the unfinished business from back then: capture the first 150, then see if I want to quit again. I probably will, but maybe a year or so after that I'll pick up Gold and Silver.
Anywise, that's my story. Hi, all.

Well,i got into pokemon during the second generation with the Crystal version,at my 7 years.I was really excited to have my first pokemon game.My starter was Cyndaquil. One friend helped me out with some things at the beginning of the game and i really appreciated that.I had some problems with catching the legendaries with ordinary balls though,i always had that ones. The Gym Leaders were tough for me at this state as long as the E4.The storyline was good.
Then, when i finished that version,i started playing B/R/Y and yeah,i really liked it.My starter was Charmander. The graphics were not so good but i had fun, that's the thing that matters for me.I continued with Sapphire and i was very pleased to have it.My poke was a fire-type again,Torchic. The storyline was extremely exciting and that's why i liked this version more than the others.I learned some new things and that's something i like doing. The graphics were pleasant and i had fun with that version, too.
Pokemon Colosseum came next and soon the game became one of my favourites. Some guys were trying to make fun of me at this state because i play pokemon but,i ignored them all.Unfortunately,i haven't played any game of the 4th generation yet,but i would like to give it a try.
