I also remember about Ditto's Cooltrainer move, however I don't exactly remember the steps required for that but it surely somewhere on the net.
In fact, this Ditto thingy can be used for the breeding center... never wished an unlimited egg-move-giving father? If Ditto acts as the father in the breeding, the new Pkmn will know these attacks as long as they're compatible. Now imagine Ditto is shiny through that other bug... 1/64 of having a shiny Pkmn with the egg moves you want xD... and with maxgene Ditto as well.

Ditto's Cooltrainer move? How strange... I remember the no-move Ditto (easy to do, just transform onto a wild Pkmn with 2 moves and change the order of the moves with select, and defeat the wild Pkmn)... but it makes sense... I read in GameFaqs (a brand new guide about Missingno. in one of the old games section) that this data used to mix then... in fact he said something true... have you ever heard about the type Bird being the pre-Flying type? Well, it could be a part of Bird Keeper as well... xD
my friend has traded a Gengar, and there stands "caught in Slateport City, (met)" !?
I'm not sure if this counts as a glitch, because I used a Gameshark for it. A long time ago I was using a Gameshark and just messing around with stuff. I forgot what game it was, but it was on the Gameboy Color. I messed something up and everything I moved to the first slot turned into a Raichu. It kept the attacks and everything in tact, it was just a Raichu now. Toungue
Some weeks ago, my brother's Gengar used thunderbolt and the lightning sound didn't go away! So we turned the gb off.

Another thing that I don't know if is a glitch happened last week (I posted it in quick question, I guess): my brother was hatching some Mudkips and releasing the ones that weren't good. But one of them came back! It also displayed a message: "... ... ...! Mudkip came back! Was it worried about you?"
And everytime we try to release it, it come back. Actually, is not the same Mudkip that come back. When we turn off the gameboy, the second Mudkip we try to release comes back. (He had may Mudkips stored.)
Freaky, don't?
Aw, that's kind of sad. I'd keep them. Toungue
Pokemon that come back are not a glitch, it happens if you're like stuck on an island and it's your only Pokemon that knows surf. It's possible that there are other cases too but no one has run any deep research on that.
I wasn't stuck anywhere, I was at four island and had other pokémon with surf, fly, etc.
And my brother had a lot of Mudkip, anyway.
on my sapphire, i went to the last stop you make before you get to the dive part that takes you to the place to open the regis caves. On the last part, i was trying to find a horsea with a dragon scale. then i was trying to find a spot that i hadnt fished in yet. Then i was able to step on a part that the rapids were in and it pushed me back on the land.
I was running on Cycling Road very slow.( with a mach bike) a step each second. When i finally end the ride the man in the end of cycling road didn't talk to me. I went there again and again but the man was not moving. After the 15th try he talked to me.
i dont know how, but I used to have a mew on my Gold version. And then I gave it to my friend and he too kthe mew and put it on his game, but could I have been able to trade it to newer games?
In Emerald there is the cloning glitch and the Pomeg glitch.

Cloning glitch:

1. Go to the Battle Tower.
2. Empty out a box in your PC
3. Take the Pokemon you want to clone and put it in your party, save.
4. Put the Pokemon in the empty box, exit, then save.
5. Take the Pokemon out, talk to the far left woman, select two Pokemon to battle. When she asks you if it's okay to save, say yes. There will be a 2 second pause here. This is the glitch taking effect.
6. Reset the game. You will have the same Pokemon in the box and your party.

Note: Use a crappy Pokemon to test this, since these directions might be wrong. I haven't done this in a while.

Pomeg glitch:
1. Take a Pokemon with ~12 HP EVs(preferrably a high level).
2. Get it down to 1 HP, withdraw an egg+put it in the front of your party, and deposit all your Pokemon except the 1 HP pokemon and the egg.(You should save here)
3. Use a Pomeg Berry, the Pokemon will have ?35 HP(which is somewhere around 50,000 HP, I can't remember)
4. Use an HP restoring item, and the Pokemon should "faint"(In a battle it will still be able to battle with the FNT condition). This MUST be done OUTSIDE OF BATTLE.
5. Get into the battle. You will use the Pokemon inside the egg. The sprite will have different colors than normal. It will have the moves it's going to hatch with, ditto for the stats.
You can level it up and evolve it. It's recommended you use the cloning glitch to create 6 lvl.100 Memento Latios, trade it to a different game, make a secret base, and mix records witht hat game to train the egg without any trouble. Make sure you use a Revive on the fainted Pokemon, or else every time you kill a Pokemon, you will white out. When the egg hatches, you keep any evolution, but lose any moves and EVs it gained.(I don't really remember this part exactly, Smogon is down so I can't check the thread)

I found an interesting glitch Pokemon with my GameShark on Sapphire. Just fill in the three x's in the WPM code with B3D. It learns glitch moves(they freeze the game when/if they hit) and normal moves. Hypnosis and Mind Reader are two off of the top of my head. It can also learn TMs iirc, and is perfectly safe to use.

I'm too lazy to check my game right now to confirm some of the details of theses glitches right now Toungue

Even though this is an old post, the answer is no. The trading mechanisms are different, and the IV and EV systems are different.
i no a glitch in the metal versions were you can clone pokemon! if you want to no how just ask
