I hate Blissey, too. It's just round and crappy with a TON of HP. That's why I hate it!! It has more HP than my Snorelax and my Slaking! That Blissey, it's ATTACK AND DEFENSE SUCK!!!! I hate it!!!!! Why does that thing exist!!!!! :twisted and shot with a snyper

blissey is an adorable pokemon. u can easyly ko it with on brick break i dont hate pokemon i just dont like some pokemon who have items on them like blastoice(i dont like the idea of cannons but i like it as a pokemon)

Plus you cannot defeat it with a brick break except if you use it with a Choice Band Heracross...

Ok, to tell the truth, I have stopped hating Blissey that much for some reasons (like giving me two frontier symbols ^^). I just don't like it now. But Roselia and Goldeen are still on the top of my list. With that new legendary, Shaymin, following them.

No.I mean that you can defeat it with very few sweepers.Blissey can also access Counter.That means that it can kill your Physical sweeper.

Yeah... Only STABed fighting moves can OHKO Blissey. I remember that once my Blissey survived from Dragonite´s Focus Punch... o.o

Ok, just to solve this, Breloom's/Machamp's (fighting-types with the best attack stat) Brick Break does only 69%-81% on a max HP-Def Blissey.
It can survive a Focus Punch from a max Atk Dragonite. It does 94%-100% damage on that max HP-Def Blissey.
Finally, the most powerful, non-uber move, Slaking's Hyper Beam will do only 80%-94% on that Blissey. But since most Slakings are Choice Banded, it will OHKO 100%.
The good thing is that only a few Blisseys carry Counter, people think that Seismic Toss is better. That way, Machamp is the best Blissey counter since it doesn't fear Thunder Wave and Toxic due to Guts and can hit it hard with a Focus Punch (OHKO) or Brick Break (2HKO).

What about Close Combat? A blissey can survive by a stabbed close combat of a fighting pokemon with base attack stat about 110 like Lucario or Infernape?

Who knows...
It´s good to me to keep Counter in my Blissey^^
