I was mostly seeking for 2 sweepers or 1 sweeper and a wall-sweeper. Nice ideas Aluado. I prefer spikes on skarm cause TS will just poison the foe and stealth rock will mostly depend on enemy's type but It's quite considerable... I would to hear more opinions, though and if you happen to come up with anything else don't hesitate to write it
P.S Will you ever write duo of the week articles about the Uber tier or just OU,BL & UU Pokes?
First of all Gengar needs the Life Orb.It is an item desined for pokemon like Gengar.
In my opinion an Adamant Salamence is a better Dragon Dancer than Choice Bander. You can replace the fourth attacking move with Dragon Dance and Choice Band with Yache Berry for example.
Thunderbolt is suggested on Regice but you can also use Charge Beam for upgrading your special attack.Focus Blast is not a reliable move but you can use it as a filler. If you use Charge Beam you can try using Rock Polish for a more offesive Regice but keep in mind that you should use the power up moves against a special sweeper and not against a physical one.
Skarmory needs 252 in Hp and at least 128 in Defence. The rest is up to you and your team.I prefer Shed Shell over Leftovers because I like playing with item clause and I find the possible escape from Magnezone better than the slight recovery of the Leftovers now that SKarmory can use Roost.
The best Wall sweeper for this team is Rhyperior. You have Regice to cover the Special side, so Rhyperior is just perfect for the physical. You have to tell as though if you want it more like a Wall or more like a Sweeper.
A great sweeper that uses Taunt very well is obviously Gyarados.
Duo of the Week is created by JimLink and Aluado so they decide what they will do.By the sorry sorry for the the minimal updates of this month, we will be back soon, even more better!
About the Duo of the Week... both me and Jimlink are quite busy lately, but we´ll post more ideas soon! We´ve already posted about Swellow and Crobat (based on Guts+Facade+Poison+Choice Band+STAB) and Dusknoir-Bronzong (Implosion + Trick Room).
I´ll soon post about Aerodactyl + Togekiss, and, about the Uber - UU tiers, we´ll also post Cherrim and Groudon.
Ok, I liked your ideas but there's one thing that I've noticed. Well 3 out of six pkmn of my party are vulnerable to rock-type moves (Gyarados,Skarmory,Salamence). Any alternatives?
Gengar (like the previous one, just replaced Expert belt w/ Life orb)
Salamence @ Yache berry
Adamant
252 Attack - 136 Speed - 122 HP
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw
Aerial Ace
Rock Slide
Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Impish
252 Hp-176Def-80Attk
Roost
Spikes
Roar
Drill Peck
Regice@Leftovers
Bold
252Hp-252Def-6Sdef
Focus Blast
Charge Beam
Rock Polish
Ice Beam
Rhyperior@Leftovers(I can't find anything better except shed shell so if you know anything...)
Adamant
252Hp-80Attk-176Def
Megahorn
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Brick Break (for Blisseys, mostly)
How do you find it now?
As for the last one Gyarados is quite attractive but by using it half of my team will be easily owned by rock type attks. Thank you guys for your wonderful,as always, advice.
P.S Think that the 6th should be a sweeper but has to not be weak to fire and rock. If you could just suggest anything....)
Skarmory isn´t vulnerable to rock because of its steel type.
So, your still can use Gyarados... I think.
Oops... you're right but Regice is so...Do you think I should replace Regice w/ sth else?(except blissey because of the skarmbliss) And now I 've started to think about double battle team but I'll be waiting till more D.O.T.W come out!
You can replace Regice with a Dusknoir wich will have its training focused on Sp.Def.
A STABed Stone Edge from Rhyperior does this damage: 100x1.5=150
A Brick Break from Rhyperior to Blissey does tis:75x2=150
That means that you don't need Brick Break for more Damage on Blissey. Why don't you use Stealth Rock for more Damage on switching?
Avalanche is a very good move on Rhyperior who is extremely slow and it will surely kill all Dragon Pokemon.
Ok. I'll use Gengar, Salamence,Umbreon, Skarmory, Gyarados and Rhyperior. Is it better now?
Well, the good (and bad) thing in D/P is that you can never have a flawless team because there are a lot of powerful combinations out there.Your team looks powerful and quite ballanced like this but we can never say that it is "The Ultimate Team".
I agree with you totally. It's quite difficult to make a flawless team as you said but winning or losing does not depend only on pokemon but how you use them and if you know how to battle.
What I am saying is that even if you know how to use them, you will find teams that will surely defeat you (If those who use them know how to use their Pokemon)
Blue is right. There hans't ever been made the team which can defeat everyone. Some have advantages and some disadvantages.
And the point is how you can cover your disadvantages IMO. Btw, I need a sweeper for this team
Gengar - Sp. Sw
Salamence - Ph Sw.
Milotic
Cresselia
Skarmory
To tell you the truth I didn't like that muich my previous team so I want to make some changes. I thought of Swampert but I dunno.
Rhyperior is a very good idea for this team, because it can be a great Physical Wall and Physical Sweeper at the same time.
Anything else? I don't this pkmn very much and I also think that I should use sth fast... really fast and destructive
