Here's the team I'm currently using in Shoddy. I tried to make it as much in-game looking as I could (meaning that I didn't want to rely on Hidden Power and max IVs and other stuff that I can't get in-game). Note: Xaralampos and George, I am NOT posting this team so that you can make an anti-NM2 team, just for receiving some comments.
Ok, just kidding. Here we go.
Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/6 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 232 HP/252 Atk/26 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Quick Attack
- Brick Break
Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
Feraligatr @ Salac Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/129 Atk/129 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
- Hypnosis
- Toxic
Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 244 HP/50 Def/216 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Crunch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
How it works: Starting with Gliscor, I lay down Stealth Rock and then I try to stack up as much passive damage as I can using Stealth Rock, Knock Off (Leftovers going away), Rest-talking by 'Lax, and Toxic by Bronzong. When I get the chance, I switch Feraligatr in to attempt an early sweep which is mainly done for getting their HP even lower. Azelf is there for taking down their physical wall, which MUST be done. Once their HP have gotten down enough, I send in Scizor, SD once and sweep with QA to victory.
Current record: 11 wins out of 12, I lost the only time I changed Feraligatr with Dugtrio for no particular reason. Xaralampos got me then. I also managed to beat Aluado's team, which is quite difficult and important to me.
Any comments/suggestions are appreciated. Before you comment though, be sure to read my strategy, I don't want just a straight-forward sweeper but something that works with the team.
