dont be so naive! that thing is completely inaccurate. it says that charizards speed and attack are higher than sceptiles.
it gives you no info on numbers. and if you look, i put it says nintendo. yeah. let me spell it: N-I-N-T-E-N-D-O. in the official NINTENDO power LG guide, under scyther, it says its evolution:"scyther will evolve into scizor, which is a bug and steel type, if its traded holding a metal coat. though scizor has poorer special defense and speed stats, it learns metal claw and iron defense. Scyther can't. "
it also has the pokemons stats on a scale from 1 to 4. scythers defense is 2, while scizors is 3.
so......... sorry but i have nintendo to back me up with words.

Οk, you won. But I think SCYTHER is better than SCIZOR.

If you want to know everything about pokemon and their stats visit our Pokedex .Scizor has one big advantage over Scyther: its type combination.Only fire moves can defeat it easily because it has a 4x weakness to them.

And I said mine.It depends in what you want.Scyther's advantage in speed is not something that can be underestimated but by the time Eraleas can pass speed on Scizor it is obviously better for his team.

American English vs. British English. "Defense" is the American way.

Scizor and Scyther differ in ATK, DEF, and SPD; they have the same S. DEF. Scizor has higher base ATK (130 > 110) and higher base DEF (100 > 80). Scyther has much higher speed (105 > 65).

Bug and Flying STAB moves deal with Fighting, Bug, Grass, Psychic, and Dark types. Bug and Steel STAB moves deal with Rock, Ice, Grass, Psychic, and Dark types.

Scyther has 5 weaknesses (one 4*), 3 resistances, and 1 immunity. Scizor has one 4* weakness, 1 immunity and 9 resistances.

That's pretty much all you need to know. Choose either durability or speed. Whichever seems more appropriate for Baton Passing.

If its gonna be a passer, choose Scyther.
