There are some errors in the team you suggested, Faiq:
There are too many physical sweepers. Charizard could be better used as a special one.
Raichu is already fast, so agility isn't usable (and Thunder Wave cuts the foe's speed, too.)
Using Focus Punch without Follow Me/Substitute/Double Team is risked, since everything would try attacking Rhydon (especially with a water/grass move).
There are also many common weaknesses - four pokémon lose to water, three lose to grass, for example.
And, since some items are hard to get (it's impossible to get Salac/Petaya Berry in FR), you should replace them with others. Don't forget that it's forbitten to use the same item twice in competitions. You should try the Protect + Leftovers combo.
I didnt suggest the team I suggested the movesets and I like power play and charizard I believe as a special sweeper doesnt work as well as a pyshical, also there is alot of flaws in his team but all teams has flaws and as long as hes not entering tournoments he will be fine in using more then one item. also Ttar is made to be a pysical sweeper same goes for nidoking and rydon charizard can be a special but I prefer it as a pysical I dont now why, but I normally dont play charizard and replace with dragonite or flygon.
have you seen charizards base attack? then look at base sp.A. which is higher? Sp.A. charizard makes a much better sp.sweeper than physical. charizard makes a decent physical sweeper, but it's your mistake...
I agree with Treecko. And did you read my signature? Don't just attack, think in defence sometimes. Although you prefer to sweep, use sweeping moves that can cover the team's weaknesses (if Charizard is defeat, a grass pokémon like Sceptile may kill the entire team with some Leaf Blades.)
Yep. and if the sceptile is holding a scope lense, say good byyyyeeee!!!! a really, really high precent chance of critical hit. did the same thing with my lugia and aeroblast. kills anyone
It can't kill a Metagross...^^ (I'm just kidding, OK?
)
i did alittle research on charizard. they say that the majority of people use it as a p/sw , but that is only b/c it doesnt learn many sp. moves naturally. if you do get the moves for sp/sw then charizard is more powerful than it will be a p/sw.:
Charizard
Rash@petaya berry(if you aint got no way to get it them salac berry)
Flamethrower/heatwave/blast burn
Outrage
Earth quake
move of choice
earthquakke as a surprise for electric types hoping to take advantage of the flying and for rock that hope to take advantage of the quadruple weakness.
Effortpoints: 252 Spat, 150Speed, and 108 to attack for earth/q
I would put Dragon Claw instead of Outrage. Outrage traps Charizard and if the foe uses something like Aggron...
that is why you can switch. nidoking, vaporeon, rydon, and tyranitar
im thinking of getting rid of nidoking i have already gotten rid of raichu and rhydon and replaced them with scyther and blissey i also taught a bunch of new moves to charizard and every one else heres the new list:
charizard
flamethrower
fly
iron tail
dragon claw
tyranitar
crunch
earthquake
flamethrower
brick break
vaporeon
surf
ice beam
haze
hydro pump
scyther
slash
wing attack
swords dance
agility
blissey
defence curl
softboiled
shadow ball ( im going to change this attack)
flamethrower
blissey is kind of hard to train because it has low stats ecxept for hp sp atk and sp def
im going to evolve my scyther when i get a chance because he doesnt have very good moves. when it evolves you get all sorts of steel type moves i also need a good 6th pokemon
i have a dragonite but im not sure about using him. i also need another earthquake tm because i made a mistake and used it on nidoking does meowth pick it up some times using its ability?
Meowth may pick up TM26 only in Emerald...
About Blissey, this moveset works a lot better:
- Counter (never use a Blissey without Counter!)
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy/Heal Bell
Tyranitar is better for physical sweeping. The previous moveset was better.
Replace Vaporeon's Hydro Pump with Wish, Helping Hand or Haze.
Aluado Wrote:(never use a Blissey without Counter!)
What about T-Wave? Ice Beam? Blissey can do more than Counter
Blissey is far more resistant with a bold nature and 252 efforts in HP and Def. T-Wave and Ice Beams are good moves, but Blissey would lack a little in def if you put efforts in SAtk for using Ice Beam.
what would be another good pokemon i can get in firered? i also own emerald leaf green and saphire. i used to have ruby too but it got stolen...
