Not entirely sure but I think it belongs to Almia from the second Ranger game. The shape of Almia region is exactly the same as the one of that part of Japan.
the Unova region is supposed to represent New York City. Maybe the next will be London?

I think those were already used for the Sevenii Islands in FR/LG.
Nope, those are supposed to be the Orange Archipelago.
