I don't know about root beer but, at least where I live, you can find ginger beer (τσιτσιμπύρα). And I think that people in Corfu (greek island) produce ginger beer in a different way than the original recipe, which is really good as well.

Oh we do have THAT Btw we don't have cadburrys chocolates or anything related to golden syrup , toffee , fudge or caramel and milka and toblerones are really rare. Anyway i didn't know you had gingerbeer there in Thes/niki db0 let's hope it's on its way over here as well

Then again , even if we had those here we don't really have the money for that kind of thing they are quite pricey , aren't they?
