Hey guys, any ideas for how to name my samurott?
I have a Garchomp named Kira (from Death Note) but I might change it to Rathalos (from monster hunter tri). If I had an Emboar I'd call it Ganonpork.

Hmmmm....Kirin for Zebstrika and Krooger for Krookodile (as in Freddy Krooger). Also Kira is now Rathalos. Any ideas for a Gigalith? I was thinking of Norriphite,as in the material of Chuck Norris.
Have a Gigalith as well but I really wouldn't know...I suck at finding any good names in general xD Maybe you could call him Daigan as in "big rock" in Japanese, Japanese always sound cool
I really like Kirin and Krooger as well
I generally prefer simple nicknames unless I come up with something really good.
I call my Boldore just Rocky, my Panpour Aquape, one of these flying pikachus Flippy and I use a very original one for my Serperior. Smugleaf
Other ones I have found for the grass starter is Smuglord and Grasshole.

Zeus is a nice name for zebstrika since it's an electric type...
Zeus sounds more fitting for the electric genie.

For example:
Charizard - Nuriel (as in Light - Fire)
Jolteon - Nova (an in a star that releases a tremendous burst of energy, becoming temporarily bright)
Gallade - Odin (the war God with his cutting spear[gungnir])
Rapidash - Sleipnir (Odin's 8-legged horse)
Gardevoir - Minerva (the Roman goddess of wisdom)
Also, I name some pokemon after anime characters xD

Togekiss - Kira/Light (with moves Follow me, Substitute, Nasty Plot and Last Resort xD)

Minerva and Kira (along with the moveset) are awesome. As for other Death Note nicknames:
Misa the Gothielle (a lifespan-seeing goth? obvious reference is obvious?)
L the Tangela(?) (Tangela seems messy,just like L)
Ryuk the Gengar (a not so serious ghost pokemon would fit this spot)
Rem the Chandelure (another Ghost pokemon,Chandelure seems fitting to me)
I have an Avalugg named Coffee Table and a Shiny Metagross named Argetlam!
I named my Ampharos Voltampere (volt+ampere). Its previous name was Lighto (as in Yagami Light). I find its beacon theme really inspiring!
