i have my last pokemon use explosion, every pokemon left dies, yet i lose. if the opponent does the same, i still lose.
Actually this is standard.That's why you shouldn't use Explosion in non Competitive Battles.<.<.Just use more powerful moves.

There are no moves more powerful than Explosion,there are just some other powerful moves with less important drawbacks.
anyone got gold symbols? and wat team did you use?
I have 7 silver symbols and 1 gold one. My team is never standard, I use what may prove useful in any occasion. For example, I have my Blissey with me when I go to the Pyramid but I'd never get in the Palace where it would move by itself. The Pokémon that has helped me the most though is Metagross.
I can only get three silver ones. Although, that was before I started playing competitvely.

I have got 6 Silvers,and the old man with the Regis was lycky and beat me.I have lost once for the Gold Tactics Symbol,and Tucker was also lucky(I have got proof,the battle on my trainer card).NM2,which Gold symbol do you have?
The Pike's one. One day, I decided that I'd get a gold one, so I got in 10 times and did it. I've also lost twice in the Dome, once by Tucker for the gold symbol, and once by the trainer right before him (God damned Explosion users should all die in hell and stay there for the rest of their lives).
Oh, and ExplorerAce, people know my opinion about Metagross. I think it is a Pokémon almost as uber-like as Garchomp, if not more.
Well,I agree about Metagross,Do you use one with Agility?And,what are your favourite facilities?Mine are the Battle Factory and the Battle Dome,although I hate Tucker(he is lucky and irritating).
my fave place is the dome and the tower. anything else annoys the s**t out of me.

Oh my God...I can understand what you mean Blue...Although Battle Frontier is awesome,sometimes it is extremely,unbelievably,super-annoying!I never managed to get even a Silver Symbol.But I won't give up.I will try to get the Symbols with Metagross,Alakazam and Milotic.
Just be patient and keep trying. This works in every facility,in every game. Don't be afraid to reconsider your team and try different pokes. I bred about 10 different just to realize that I only needed 4-5. I usually used Starmie w/ Surf,T-Bolt,Psychic and Ice Beam or a quite similar Latios, a Heracross with SD, Metagross with Agility and Explosion and Slaking (he REALLY REALLY helps). I would suggest being more offensive, because that way you don't leave openings for the opponent's team to set up or to hax you with DT and OHKO moves but of course it depends on how everyone plays.
For the record, I DO have all 7 Golden Symbols (check my sig).
(And yeah,sometimes all I was doing was playing Emerald. I have completed 500+ hours of gameplay
