Ok, although I'd love to see a GS remake, I personally think that the announcement will not be about it. The 10th anniversary of GS may be in November as WPM mentions, but still, the timing is really bad imo for announcing a new game. The reason is simple. Platinum hasn't even hit the stores in the whole world, and announcing a new game that everybody is gonna buy will definitely reduce Platinum's sales. I mean, you can buy now a revised edition of DP, a game you played a year ago, and in a few months, you'll be able to buy a remake of your favorite Pokémon, something that you had been waiting for since the release of FRLG. Which one will you get? Of course, you can get both if you want, but there are people who don't.
Anyway, I think Nintendo could easily toy with us and out anticipation for the game for some more time.

And I'd also REALLY LOVE to see your faces when the announcement turns out to be about something totally irrelevant. Of course, chances are that I'll be wrong, but still, if I'm proven right, I'll laugh at you.

NM2 is right. it's too early for nintendo to release a new game without platinum's release all over the world....

Hopefully. Yet we wouldn't wanna see anything similar to Pokemon Battle Revolution.xD

I'm hoping for one of three things:
1) A real time Pokemon game (like the anime, where turns are virtually non-existent)
2) GSC Remake
3) Nintendo has figured out how to mutate DNA and do whatever they want and will unleash Dialga and Palkia upon us. Of course, Pokemon in real life is really far-fetched.

Although I'm proven wrong, I don't really care. But I still think it wasn't a great move by Nintendo to release them so early.

I changed the title according to the news! I don't care if it was not a good move. This fact may shows that Nintendo cares about its fans. Not only about money!
