They Suck....
yesterday i trade my deoxys in GTS for a shaymin (i have deoxys in emerald,i can clone it) and then i trade it for a shiny luxio 21 lvl female. i had already shaymin but it is 100 lvl so i gave deoxys for a 30 lvl shaymin. it must be shiny i think because it has been caught in route 202 3lvl. it is brave nature
well i like some shinies, currently ive hatched:
shiny bulbasaur relaxed with hp,def,spatk and sp def ivs perfect
shiny koffing relaxed with hp,def, and sp def perfect iv
shiny porygon bold with def spatk and sp def perfect iv
shiny snorlax careful with hp and spdef iv perfect
ive caught:
shiny fearow naughty with every iv between 20 and 30
shiny numel quiet with perfect atk iv
2 shiny machops while i was ev training one lonely and one sassy
shiny tentacool modest
shiny giratina impish great hp and atk ivs
shiny slakoth timid
shiny magnemite gentle
shiny zubat lax
shiny horsea impish
most of them came out to be good shinies but this is in in the past 3 years, over 4000 hours of gameplay lol
I'd never saw shiny in the video games and I have been playing for over 400 hours. But almost all my pokemon have and had pokerus
i have only encounter two shiney and caught one. when i was little(littler)i was playin pokemon silver and found a shiny slowpoke but i didnt know at the time so i fainted it thinking it was any other pokemon and last i caught a shiny tentacool. then the bad egg hapened to my game and erased all my data
Never found any shiny except for the Gyarados at the lake of rage.
And its impish. -_-

Shiny Pokemon won't produce shiny eggs.
Unless the Pokemon that is producing eggs is foreign.
I HAD A JAPANESE CHARMANDER BUT I RELEASED IT !

Even then, it's not sure. The "normal" chance of hatching a shiny egg is 1/8192, the chance of hatching a shiny if you breed two Pokémon that originate from cartridges of a different language is 1/2048. You quadruple your chances, but yeah, it's still quite rare.
Anyway, the number of shinies I've randomly found up to now is 1, just a shiny Lotad in my Diamond. I've bred some, but I'm not counting them.
today i bought platinum and i almost reach 4 hours i caught a shiny budew...yeah so lucky

Randomly Found, I have a shiny Gengar(very good at battles as it is Timid with good speed IV's). I have a Jolly Red Gyarados from SS and a PCP from the Event.
in fired i jest got a shiney rattat and im gonna breed it to make shinies and it is possibl if you breed four from the shiny and interbreed those four you have a 25% chance of gettin a shiny so its hard but possible
As i said, you need a foreign Pokemon and ditto-breed it (or with any other Pokemon that it can breed with) and the chance of getting a shiny will be 25xx something.
