I've caught 2 shines.
I got a golden Geodude (now Golem) on my Ruby quite a while agon in Dewford Cave and I got a Golden Parasect in Leaf Green in cerulean cave quite recently. Also for geodude I only had 2 timer balls in my bag and caught it with my last ball. And on Leaf Green I only had 1 luxury ball and caught it with that.
And No I did Not CHEAT!
So far on Emerald, I haven't seen any of them. The only time I actually got one in a random battle was in Silver. A shiny Zubat... I got it k.o. though and never caght it...
I don't believe it!!!! I saw a shiny Kecleon on Emerald and I didn't have any pokeballs with me!!! GRRR...

Well that's why I always carry at least 20 ultraballs with me...(I also carry a masterball because you never know)
I have a few shiny Pokémon, well, had...I deleted the files. I had a shiny Horsea at Level 26, female, Adamant nature.
I also had a shiny Golbat at Level 40, female, Serious nature.
I caught a shiny duskull(red)at my 19 hours in Emerald.
I only catch shinies in my dreams!
I have a Armaldo and a Linoone, now I think I'm a little bit crazy, I have 121 Beldums because I WANT A SHINY METAGROSS!
