Legendary Pokémon

I would like some guidance into creating a website.

I think Arty2 has to give the basic guidlines on this... I don't possess taht much knowledge...

What exactly do you want to create?
I guess you are just trying to create your first page.
The simpler way is to write your page in Office and "Save As..." (*.html,*.htm) file format.
BUT...
if you want something more professional (to create sth like this forum's main site) then you need a very good knowledge of the HTML code(I suppose you don't) or use a program dedicated to create the code by itself, while you only alter the interface of what is shown to the visitor of your page. As a program I never used Frontpage though. If you want something not very diffiicult to learn but with great possibilities download NVU which is freeware.
If you want though to create sth like this forum then...(Arty2 I ask a bit of help :-) )

In every case you need a company(many are free) which will provide you with space to put your page and when someone types:
"http://www.provider.com/username" the visitor will see your page.
Of course there are ways of having your own domain(again without pay) like "http://www.username.tk" but it needs a sub-domain like above...

Anyway, say what you want to create and we'll figure it out.

I am planning, obviously, on creating a Pokémon website, with news, Fanfiction updates, et cetera. I am also creating an RPG and Forum [all in one, thanks to SMF's programming of infinite subforums].

I'm also considering MyBB, but I do not know much about it as an administrative thing, as I need many things to work it.

What I need to know are:

-- HTML
-- CSS
-- PHP
-- MYSQL

and all other components of a standard site.

It's pretty important in my opinion to get an established website before opening community forums unless you already have a community backing your site.

Guess what? Im in the middle of creating my own website! i have to wait a week before i can release it to the public. and, naturally, its about pokemon. i'll give a heads up when its ready.

I have already made the forums and the site.

I already have a site but it's ASTANAPAN which in ancient Indian language means that is a site with a lot of problems...
