Hm... I think that Ditto with the Eccentric ability is a really great option. I mean, Ditto's main problem has always been its need to Transform in the first turn and now it transforms when it is switched in. A Scarf'd one with good Speed and Atk/SpAtk EVs could take down many of the most fearsome sweepers (or at least, cause them some serious problems), like Heatran (with Earth Power), Zapdos (with HP Ice), Metagross (with Earthquake/HP Fire), Gyarados (with Stone Edge), Starmie (with Thunderbolt), Ghost-types (with Shaow Ball) and Dragon-types (with Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw etc.). What do you think about it?
It doesn't even need EVs, all it needs is HP EVs because HP is the only stat that doesn't change according to the Pokemon it transforms into, the EVs become useless because it completely copies the foe's stats.
Well, I thought that it just copies the opponents base stats and not the stats themselves. Anyways, this is even better, since it can be effective as any kind of sweeper, wall etc.
I haven't really bothered experimenting with the new pokemon yet, I' d like to see how the metagame will develop though.
Some things have really triggered my interest to be honest(mostly thanks to YouTube videos):

Kojondo: 125 AT/105 Sp, Regenaration + Hi Jump Kick + U-Turn is great. It can deal serious damage and then U-Turn getting some HP back(in case a HJK misses - it should work well with Life Orb recoil etc)

Nattorei:131/116 Defenses, many resistances(especially water, electric, dragon), has the support moveset of Foretress and learns Leech Seed. I like it.

Doryuuzu: Double Speed in Sandstorm + 135 Base Attack + SD O.o Unfortunately, its movepool isn't anything special and it seems completely dependent on sandstorm, still, I can't wait to use it.

Randorosu: Boosted Stone Edges/EQs in Sandstorm coming from an 125 attack, SD plus a sweet base 101 speed.

Sandstorm teams will propably be really common, as people have already said, I'd like to see Garchomp once again. Also, I hope double battles will eventually receive the attention they deserve, Game Freak put more effort into them this time it seems...
Doryuuzy would be a really good switch for a lead Tyranitar.

Tyrinitar and its sandstorm enter the battle. When you lose or switch, Doryuuzu appears. Power ups with sandstorm. Kick opponent's assToungue
Doryuzu is a late-game sweeper, showing it before the battle even starts is absurd IMO.
I never knew people had competitive battling on B/W, pretty cool though. I haven't really thought of competitive battling yet. I like the idea, but I didn't know people already had strategic moves on the new game.
I just battle with a balanced team or use a bunch of poison types...
Giratina88, IMO that's not competitive at all.
...Im sorry...I just like to battle the way I like it and not do some super complicated system...
I don't find it complicated at all. Toungue
Indeed, it's not complicated at all. Contrariwise, it's pretty simple and cool. Anyways, i think we 're out of topic right now, so we should and up this mini-conversation...

Yeah it's pretty cool. Also Competitive battles was the main reason that make me return in Pokemon.

Don't worry, the way you battle is awesome. A lot of competitive battlers may be stronger than you but they have lost the magic of the game. They just calculate numbers. Of course, I am not refering to all of them.

Agreed. Competitive battling's purpose is to make you become stronger, but using your favorite Pokemon is what we should play Pokemon for. Wink
