I like where this Mega theme is heading though I can't see a pattern over which Pokémon have it; maybe all final evolutions?

Yeah right, but these are multiple personalities on one body.

So, Kangaskhan is the mother(having a useless baby) and the baby power ups using the mega stone. Mega Kangaskhan is the powered up baby and the mother. And the baby now attacks too. I guesss it's less powerful though. Hmm, and what about HP or moves? So many questions, they literally drop a bomb and left.

What about Mawile. It has no evolutions. Will all Pokémon that don't evolve have a Mega form too?

So it seems the second hit is extra damage. Nice to know this, fortunately it isn't broken.

There will probably have to be an entirely new set of battle tiers created specifically for MegaPokemon.

With the advent of Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle and their mega-evolutions, there is now no legitimate way for genwunners to dislike Pokemon X and Y.

Anyone who rants negatively about this is no longer a Pokemon fan, not even of the first generation. They just aren't.
