Both of them are really nice. I personally prefer Charizard due to its large movepool which includes even belly drum. And Bellyzard is really famous among battlers. However, it can be also used as a special sweeper, what makes it really strong.

well I think Arcanine is better. It has high A and SpA. It inherits almost the same moves that Charizard knows from Growlithe plus Thunder Fang and ExtremeSpeed. Also, Charizard has an important drawback, its double weakness to rock, and its D is not that good to dodge it. In LeafGreen my Charizard was always defeated by a Rock Slide.
