I don't know, but i think your right, from what i saw from the trailer, it looks like an Action Adventure game with a LITTLE Action RPG in it.
Im not sure, i might just be imagining things, i didn't play the first Kid Icarus too, just played the demo on Smash Bros. Brawl.
One questions: why does nintendo only care about how to gain money with new retarded ways? Wasn't DS/DSi enough for them? Do they think players can keep up with that pace or they have infinite money to buy their new products? I think they should be a little bit more considerate... New consoles will easily own old ones, and those will get 'stale'. Personally I haven't played much with my DS and probably I won't have the time to buy and play many more new ones. Nintendo is obviously like Pokemon; it never ends and it's never satisfacted with what is has.

DSlite and DSi were just better versions of the same console, if you had one, you didn't have to buy the other to play the games. The 3DS is a new console, the same thing GBA was to GBC. As years go by, so does technology and the need for new systems that are adapted to it.

i agree the job market and pay cuts were i live are makeing it hard just to be able to have the basics like food. I still am able to get it but games have been getting closer to the bottom of my to but list
well,thats the reason why i can only play pokemon in my Nintendo consoles....At least thank God my cousin broke my DS(yeah the first one) and thats the only reason i baught DS Lite...Its no use buying them but if we consider that the new B/W wont be a 3DS game,then (at least for me) it wont be necessary to get it.Cel's right.Every single company tries to have a higher budget every year AND THATS AGAINST US gawddammit!
Why would it be "against us"? No one is forcing you to buy anything guys. You set priorities and buy things according to your needs. It's that simple. And it is because of the crisis they will make even more money anyway. Video games are classified as one of the cheapest ways of entertainment. Games need time to be finished, they're fun, you can even play with other people and compared to other activities like e.g going to a club or to the movies, they're the most affordable in the long-term.
Yes, Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass's controls were terrible and annoying, to me anyways.
About Kid Icarus: Uprising
I think it's an on-the-rails shooter and Action combination. If you see the trailer once again, you may notice that Pit slides on an icy surface and aims the opponent. This IS on the rails (like Sin and Punishment). Then, when he flies and avoids obstacles or when roams the city, the game shifts to an Action game.
Gorgeous game! I think that Nintendo's gonna make it a smash hit...
AND I want 3DS badly! XD
