Bullshit.
The 3D affects can be turned off in the 3DS anyways.

It's not at all bullshit. I think that this can be a real problem. I hope that they're going to eliminate the negative side-effects of the 3D visuals.

That must be a serious problem. I don't think that the 3D tv screen has anything to do with the 3D, though. I hope so.

There are other side effects too, I remember in an article somewhere on http://www.Geek.com it said that some people got sick(as in nauseous when watching Avarta in 3D).

Again, bullshit.
I watched Alice in Wonderland in 3D, and nothing bad happened.

Still, it's Avatar's fault, not the 3DS's. xDD
Truth is, the radioenergy some people are talking about as dangerous is not strong enough to affect even a single cell in the human body, thus what they are talking about is plain crap. You don't get sick by watching Avatar on your 3D screen on your DS nor when you watch TV for example, it's impossible. All those dumbasses talking about radioenergy effects and sicknesses when using electronic devices cause they don't have any time to spend on other things are losers.

Jesus Christ, you all need to chill. It depends on who watched 3D, for how long they watch for and the age of the person. Small children's eyes are very vulnerable, especially in winter and if you noticed, they sometimes wear glasses in schools for a short time and often never wear them again. Adults who also start to have problems with their eyesight because of their age would have problems, too. That article talks about what COULD happen, regardless the chances and, in my opinion, they did a good job informing the public. 3D is just an illusion to our eyes, that's why it could harm (even in the very least) people with poor eyesight or with vulnerable and sensible eyes. Also, eyes are, obviously, connected to our head, people with temporal strains on their heads wouldn't pleasantly watch 3D. In the other hand, 3D could produce strains in our heads, but, I repeat, the chances vary but are mostly low.

Besides, it all depends on how long you play a game in 3D and how intensely you look at the screen. Nintendo was smart enough to give the ability to the player to adjust the 3D effect and (why not) deactivate it completely.
