I've already clocked 110 hours in the game, I'm doing a bunch of tasks simultaneously now. Filling the 'dex, breeding and training good Pokémon, going through the Maison and Looker's quests, etc. Unfortunately, there isn't that much to do post-game, but a 'dex containing almost 600 Pokémon will take some time to complete.
I hope you have already guessed what you have to name your Mewtwo now.

My Mewtwo's name is NM2.
I think I'm going to name my Zapdos, fr3quency. First I have to chase you all over the Kalos Region on my X.
I can see it now: I'm chasing you as and you shock me and fly away. COME BACK HERE FR3QUENCY!!!
I have 75 hours in Y and 28 hours in X. Guess which one is my favorite.

translation of Pokemon X Y Review via Google Translate so it's probably not perfect (Click to View)
Catch 'em all. Once again
The Pokemon traditionally is one of the major system sellers of handheld systems Nintendo. In each generation hardware and there is at least one generation Pokemon (during life DS indeed presented two generations) so hopefully most welcome to the 6th generation 3DS.
The Pokemon X & Y is the first appearance of the underlying asset in Pokemon dimensional Nintendo console and therefore the requirements of the fans were very high. Fortunately for all of the Game Freak delivered a game that is both very sophisticated compared to previous versions, but also very close to the roots of the series, such as those set by the Pokemon Red & Blue.
Inevitably the visual field is the one who (first reading) draws the player's attention, and now we are talking about a world designed entirely in 3D, which is not limited to the top down view of the world and your character. This is considerably larger and with much more detail than anything preceding has been in the series. For the first time we can distinguish the whole body the player to change his clothes, haircut and skin color. The areas that appear wild Pokemon, is no longer just ... blade of grass vegetation but with enough variety. Indeed, depending on the vegetation, also different Pokemon. In the battles the admittedly "tired" sprites of the two older generations are replaced with cell shaded 3D models, which move and express themselves differently depending on each attack. The environment in which Pokemon are displayed in the battle, while most observed differences as cloudy sky, moonlit night, etc.
But things are unfortunately not entirely rosy for the optical sector. The 3D effect is more often necessarily disabled sidelined due to limited technical resources, while the fighting, although decent, oftentimes throws appreciable frame rate.
The flow of the game focuses on exploration of new and beautiful-in the data of Pokemon games-world and not so much the story as they did in the previous titles. In fact there is a deliberate resemblance to Pokemon Red & Blue. The similarities do not stop only in the style of the game. In many parts of the Pokemon X & Y "winks" to old gamers, as are sites that resemble the old days or place specific Pokemon together in nature, such as we had first met. However, the good start made to the plot in the previous generation, unfortunately continues to this. And the problem is not lack of "bulky" plot, but the way in which it occurs. In the Red & Blue Team Rocket was basically the mafia Pokemon and was facing the player, simply because they happened to "tangle" their feet. By the third generation after the opposing team every title had more specific goal and the game was more scripted flow. On X & Y seems to became the attempt to combine the simplicity of the first game with the complexity of the rest. But the result is unfortunately below expectations as Team Flare unconvincing reason for existence.
In terms of gameplay the Pokemon X & Y have collected all the best elements from previous games and showcase their best result so far. One difference you will notice the player from the start is the character movement in 8 directions instead of 4. Manipulated with the Pad and the analog stick. The second even works with a delightfully inventive way to find just catch it in your hands.
In the field of battle and training of Pokemon, except for new additions seen massive reorganization of the known mechanisms to balance the game. Such changes may not be visible in the eyes of a novice player, but for those involved in the so-called competitive battling is very important. Large role in the rebalance of the game play and the addition of Fairy Type, set smart limits on previously mighty Dragon Types.
The Mega Evolutions is another brand new addition to Pokemon that previously were not evolve further evolve only during the battle and raise considerably the level of power. However only a Mega Evolved Pokemon allowed on each team.
In the bottom 3DS screen there are 3 very important functions. The first, is the most impressive, is named Player Search System (PSS). It is a system which allows direct communication of players with all the other players in the world via internet. The players are divided into three categories: Friends, Acquaintances and Passersby. In the first category are persons who knew or via friend code, either because they have collaborated many times through the game. In the second category are those who have worked at least once in the game, and the last rank everyone else who play the game and are connected to the internet. Through the PSS can be made battles, exchanges and chat among players without any lag and with quick and easy process.
The second function is the Pokemon Amie with which the player can play and deal with Pokemon in minigames, which constitute in fact a pet simulator. Note that the results of the Pokemon Amie visible in battles in various ways, finally verifying the Professor Oak who at first supported games that: "The power of Pokemon in battle depends not only on the hard training, but also their friendship with the instructor. "
Finally there is the Super Training. In all previous generations there were some hidden numbers that were called from competitive players Effort Values (EVs). These numbers were the key to the perfect training Pokemon and the major difference between "hip" than other players. For the first time Effort Values are visible through charts at Super Training and is directly controlled by the start of the game, not the player must defeat specific Pokemon like the previous times. In a nutshell, Super Training helps more casual players to be more competitive and facilitate competitive to achieve their goal.
After completing the main story, which takes about 25-30 hours (at a relatively fast pace and much more if the player cares to look for more things in the game) the title has, as always, a significant volume of post-game content. Of installations in which difficult battles or caught rare Pokemon, so use Global Link from your computer. Anyone who wants to deal seriously with the game you will need to spend much time on it.
Note that the Medal System from the previous generation, which served as the system achievement, but this time unfortunately is only visible through the Global Link and not in the game. Another new and exciting addition is Pokemiles, which is acquired when made different targets and can be cashed at Pokemon Global Link for articles which will then be sent back in the game.
Eventually Pokemon X & Y are the best Pokemon titles so far. It also seems to be the dream of a child protoepaixe Pokemon 1999. But this child is now an adult and there is perhaps the only fault of the game. With a fully satisfactory world, many new and useful features, a very well-balanced combat system and the well-known metagame endless series, the adult player is left with a small gap and a deeper story, the game could reach the top.

After I catch Zapdos and name it fr3quency, I'm going to trade all of my good Pokemon to my Y and then replay X.
To make it really fun, I want Forum members for nicknames.
I already have an Arty2 (Articuno), NM2 (Mewtwo), and a Fr3quency (Zapdos)
I still need a Grim Ripper.
X team:
Froakie (nicknamed Kalas Rey)
Litleo (nicknamed Leo) (yes, it's named after Hachi)
Ralts (nicknamed Crystal) (after LuXray)
Zubat (nicknamed King) (after Kingnothing412)
Hawlucha (nicknamed Alcovich)

My Froakie (now it's a Greninja) is named Axel-F
(reason:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k85mRPqvMbE)
So,why not naming your Froakie after this?
Also,catch a Pansage/Pansear/Panpour and name it Mr.Nesmith (from Planet Sheen )

It took me a little over an hour but I finally caught fr3quency!!! I've already maxed it's Special Attack and Speed in Super Training.
@Hachi
The only one of the three I really enjoy is Panpour/Simipour but I'm not sure I want to train it in X.
Also, I've been thinking about nicknaming the Froakie, Kalas Rey, because he is a Ninja.
Also, what is Planet Sheen?
I'm also thinking about training Zubat and Ralts.
Once they are all fully evolved that will end give me Water, Dark, Fire, Normal, Psychic, Poison, Flying, Fighting and Fairy types.
I'm thinking of nicknaming the Ralts, Crystal (LuXray) and the Zubat, King (after Kingnothing412).
Alcovich has informed me that he would like to be a Hawlucha.
I need a Grim Ripper.

It's the second weekend of November, almost a month since the games were released and everything is more slow. I'm trying slowly to keep on filling the pokedex, I drink a lot of coffees in the cafes around kalos in order to see new pokemon and I'm fishing a lot for shinies. It's very easy if you have a bit of patience. Pokeradar is harder and I haven't grasped it yet.
I have a reminder on my phone for 8 in the afternoon which is the time for the search of megastones and I ride my bike searching for them all over kalos.
I'm thinking of reading and learning more about the IV mechanics and build a team for online matches because I suck really bad at it!
Central Kalos Pokédex: Seen 150, Caught 133
Coastal Kalos Pokédex: Seen 147, Caught 122
Mountain Kalos Pokédex: Seen 129, Caught 105
National Pokédex: Seen 493, Caught 398
If someone knows of a site with a good IV guide with examples please show me the way. It will be very helpful. Thanks!
@grassdragon: You have to get online in-game. I have a surprise trade for you.
