Layout contest!

by Arty2

I guess you recently noticed that there have been some problems with the site. This was due to some changes that happened to the server but everything is back to normal now.
Anyway, I should get back to the topic… Since I’ll be pretty busy these days (till mid-February), I thought it would be a good idea to open a layout contest for all that love web-design. There won’t be any special gifts, but the best layouts (if there are any submitted that is…) will be added in the Control Panel’s layout changer and the creator of the layout who comes first will get access to the site’s news manager.
So, what do you need to know? Well, if you know a bit of PHP, CSS and XHTML you can have a look at the basic files here (long page ahead) and at the source of this page. You can do almost anything, like put your own images, use PHP in the templates and even include Javascript but have in mind that your CSS and XHTML code should validate. Your layout can also be for mobile devices, low sighted people e.t.c like described in ALA’s Big, Stark & Chunky. Also have in mind that there’s already a basic.css.php CSS file applied to every page. So, send all your work and/or questions to arty2gr at hotmail dot com! (Of course if there are no entries to this contest there will be no contest at all.)
Edit: The designer of any layout that gets selected to be in the layout changer also gets a legendarypokemon.net POP3 e-mail account!
