The official Pokémon X/Y website has confirmed that Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie are pure Grass-, Fire- and Water-type respectively. Considering Bulbasaur is the only first stage starter Pokémon with a secondary type, that was more or less expected. However, no news have been revealed concerning the types of Xerneas and Yveltal. February’s CoroCoro issue specifically teases about their typing with a few question marks. Could they have two never before seen type combinations? Could they introduce a new type? What do you think?
