As for me I think I would be good with a couple of Eevees and a Magikarp.. Squirtle,Totodile or Oshawott would be acceptable as well.

Well yes, I always try to get one grass, one water, and one fire pokemon. Another great pokemon to keep as a pet is mew because it's cute and it has super powers!
