Write the natures, moveset, ev's e.t.c. It' ll be easier to rate that way. Things I don't "like" in your team. 1st you're using 3 Ubers (Mewtwo, Deoxys and Latios (which is now considered to be an uber regardless of holding Soul Dew)) and that's not good if you're using this team in Standard OU metagame 'cause ppl won't wanna battle you. Also Your team has almost the same weaknesses: Look here http://pokemon.marriland.com/diamond_pea...m_builder/
It's a very helpful tool to let you build your team correctly.

Kalas is absolutely right here. Without movesets we can't help but anyway, I'll help with what I can see. First, 3 ubers = unfair as he already said. Second, certain Pokémon can totally eat this whole team and some of them are not even sweepers. How can you beat a Spiritomb? It can burn you, get back its HP with Pain Split and KO five of your Pokémon with Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse. A sweeper with a Ghost-type and a Fire-type move can totally mess with this team. Swords Dance Infernape with Shadow Claw and Flare Blitz = doom. And you can't say that nobody uses that, my Infernape has these 3 moves. I can also guess that you have at least two T-Bolts in your team. If Electivire switches in one of them, don't expect to have a good time. Blissey can stall your special sweeping for a long time and Counter any Physical move back. That was all I could think of now, plz post more details if you want.
(Kalas, that tool is great! I just realised how good the team I am planning can be!)

i guess shadow claw is for starmie and slowbro, b/c flareblitz does more to most psychic types if you apply stab, although my starter infernape knows it still. i always like an extra chance to do critical hits! but on my ev trained one, i have thunder punch.
13-09-2007, 07:21 PM
Well, I wanted a high-critical ratio move for hitting any opponent that has a boosted Defense and since Stone Edge has low accuracy, I chose Shadow Claw. Anyway, after one or two Swords Dances, Flare Blitz's recoil becomes huge so I need another move for sweeping neutral damage opponents.

yes, true, but i use a shell bell. it is very useful, but then again, i almost dies when i flare blitzed a brifblim on a wifi tornament! of course, i won the battle, and wouldve won the tournament if they hadn't accused me of cheating! they said my infernape had wonder guard... they didnt even hit me... thunder with a slow jolteon... i was so mad...

well, the only types i should fear for my team are ground/flying! for the ground type i have no fear except if i have the bad chance that there is someone holding an iron ball cause of gengar and latio's levitate, but after all i can beat a ground type easly cause i have a supper efective move and aboute flying enmpies i can arrenge them with an other move i also have in my party! that' s why i think my team is perfect! as i have already told i have an ultimate strategy includid an ultimate team! i am dissapointed you subestimated me so much! i had studed everithing befor making my ultimate team!

MANUELF Wrote:well, the only types i should fear for my team are ground/flying!So your huge weakness to Ghost/Dark as I have mentioned doesn't count, huh? Can you please tell me how will you counter a Spiritomb? You'll probably hit it with any move you have, it'll drain your HP and restore its HP with Pain Split and next turn, it can KO with Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse. Choice Banded Dugtrio's Sucker Punch can also do huge damage. If you let a Tyranitar Dragon Dance twice, it'll Crunch your whole team and EQ Lucario.
MANUELF Wrote:that' s why i think my team is perfect! as i have already told i have an ultimate strategy includid an ultimate team!No team is perfect. There's always another team that can beat it. When making a team, we always try to reduce our weaknesses as much as possible, there's no way you have no weakness.
MANUELF Wrote:i am dissapointed you subestimated me so much!Hey pal, we didn't underestimate your team, we just tried to help you. Oh, and btw, most people will show no respect to you if you battle with 3 ubers. Just so you know.

yes, and you seem very supercilious about your battling skills. if my wifi was still working, i would battle you, without ubers, and most of your team would be destroyed by my weavile. well, all of you team, especially if none of them are ev trained. you might as well have put:
DRAKRAI,DRAKRAI,DRAKRAI,DRAKRAI,DRAKRAI,DRAKRAI
though my weaviles brick break would kill them all.
but, having ubers doesnt mean your a good battler.if anything, it means you are such a bad battler, that you must hide behind ubers, who have overwhelming power that can destroy most pokemon single handedly. the most respected battlers never use ubers. that reminds me of another tourney, on which i was one of only 3 out of 17 who didnt use ubers. i made the semi finals, thanks to my WEAVILE, and i gained a lot of respect.
you should use less ubers, actually, no ubers, and tell us the moves and natures of your non ubers, so we can help you more.

Well it's neither good nor bad in my opinion. Your team is full is full of sweepers that know only sweeping moves. For example Lugia has very high HP and defences and yours know only sweeping moves. Before choosing a moveset for your pokemon always look at its base stats to see how you can use it in batlle and what moveset you should choose for this role. For examle a good moveset for Lugia would be this:
Used as Tank
252 HP/DEF-6SDEF
Recover
Calm Mind
Psychic
Substitute/Thunder Wave
To conclude, I want to tell you the most important about your team. Your team is full of UBERS (well, except Suicune). That's not good 'cause:
1. Winnig only by using ubers is in my opinion very unfair.
2. People won't wanna battle if they see that you use Ubers.
And I think that if you want to do Wi-Fi battles on Wii legends are banned.

well, obviously, he has no seen athing that kalas, nm2, or i have said, because his team is worse. and not a single one of them have a good moveset. giratina, suicune, and lugia are used as tanks.dialga can also be used as one, thought not as good as the other 3.
1. dialga: no need for 2 dragon type moves, or the other 2 moves. dragon pulse, stealth rock, aura sphere, and flamethrower or thunder(kyogre)
2.palkia: better than dialga, but still meh-ish. spacial rend, aura sphere, surf, and thunder[kyogre(bolt)]
3.Giratina: i really dont know, and i dont use it, but... toxic/thunder wave, calm mind, dragon pulse, shadow ball.
4.rayquaza: i really never use this. mine is; fly, surf, outrage,-. i dont use this unless i need to fly. im better making it special, not physical. dragon pulse, flamethrower, surf/ice beam, thunder bolt. see, im not even that good making it special.
5. lugia: kalas put exactly what a lugia should look like, imo.
6. suicune: well, i think this is what people use, but im not sure. calm mind, rest, surf, ice beam/shadow ball. shadow ball can be used onw, with the phy/sp split, so now, it can ko some of the legends. it really is if your are more afraid of dragons and grass types, or psychics and ghost types.
yes, but overall, many OU and BL pokemon could counter these legendaries. oh, and if you were still to use this team, make rayquaza be a physical sweeper.

Just a comment on Lugia. The moveset that Kalas gave may be good in a battle against OU teams but in ubers it can do nothing. What are you gonna Psychic? Most ubers resist Psychic (Lati@s, Mew, Mewtwo, Darkrai, Deoxys, Metagross and Blissey [they are not ubers but they are used in uber battles a lot]) and others can just absorb it with their huge Sp.Def. stat (Kyogre, Ho-Oh). Roost is much better than Recover, since Ice Beam, Thunder and Stone Edge lose their x2 advantage + Groudon is not gonna EQ anyway. I would go with this Lugia:
Lugia @ Leftovers
Bold, 252 HP, 200 Def, 58 Speed
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam / Aeroblast
Calm Minded Ice Beams can KO Lati@s, Groudon and Rayquaza easily, Aeroblast gets STAB. Whirlwind for Mew with Nasty Plot and Baton Pass, Kyogre with Calm Mind, etc.
Rayquaza: Only Physical moves (Earthquake, Stone Edge, Outrage and Extremespeed are fine) with Choice Band. I can't say much about 4th gen ubers because I haven't studied their metagame so I can't help with Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. About Suicune, it has so many choices and I was never good with this Pokémon. If you use it against ubers, you must keep Ice Beam. If it is for OU matches, Roar is a good choice for sending away T-tars and Curselaxes. If you don't understand a word of what I say, I'm sorry. (The fact that I gave some suggestions doesn't mean that I like using ubers.)

I wrote this moveset for OU battles. I agree that it will be useless against Uber teams.
