Looks like my laptop’s HDD has serious problems, not even the GRUB boot manager can run at times; it’s either due to overheat or some lame script kiddy did the job. At the moment I am on the same laptop running SimplyMEPIS, a live-CD Linux distro; and it works quite well. At least this time I can mount the HDD. It will take a while till I get the computer fixed or till I get a new one, so there’ll be a lack of updates on my behalf. I hope Eraleas can deal with the rest.
Looks like my computer works just great now not, I’m trying to get a new one; so strange…
