Diamond and Pearl backwards compatibility.

by Arty2

There’s some new stuff about the compatibility of Diamond & Pearl with the 3rd Generation games:

  • Pokémon are transfered instead of being traded, much like Pokémon Box, though the transfer may be one-way only…
  • One can only transfer up to 6 Pokémon to Diamond & Pearl daily.
  • Information about the date the Pokémon was transfered is displayed on the status screen.

Obviously the player must have reached a certain point in the games in order to be able to transfer Pokémon. There’s also going to be a Safari Zone in Diamond & Pearl.
