Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver, officially confirmed!

by Ninjomewtwo

And yes, what we all expected actually happened! The official Japanese Pokémon website actually announced the really anticipated among Pokémon fans remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver. The games’ names will be “Pokémon HeartGold” and “Pokémon SoulSilver”, the former featuring Ho-Oh’s wings forming a heart in its logo while the latter features a ghost-like Lugia. Not much is actually known about the upcoming games, but more information is going to be revealed in Pokémon Sunday’s next episode as announced last Sunday. The games are expected to be released this autumn in Japan, exactly 10 years after the release of Pokémon Gold and Silver, what else could be a better present to the fans for this anniversary?

EDIT:A new article about our expectations regarding the upcoming Remakes can be found here
