Scans of the upcoming issue of the CoroCoro magazine have leaked early on japanese boards once again showing more Generation V Pokémon! The 7 new Pokémon we can see for the time being are:
- Chiraamii [チラーミィ], the Chinchilla Pokémon. It’s a Normal-type, mouse-like Pokémon. It has the Cute Charm and Technician abilities and a new move called Sweep Slap [スイープビンタ] which hits the opponent several times, probably like Fury Swipes. It has a height of 0.4m and a weight of 5.8kg.
- Gear [ギアル], the Gear Pokémon, which is a Steel-type that looks like two, eeeer…, gears. It has the Plus and Minus abilities and a new move called Gear Saucer [ギアソーサー]. It has a height of 0.3m and a weight of 21kg.
- Munna [ムンナ], the Dream Eater Pokémon. It’s a Psychic-type, pig-like Pokémon. It has the Forewarn and Synchronize abilities as well as a new move called Telekinesis [テレキネシス]. It has a height of 0.6m and a weight of 23.3kg.
- Mamepato [マメパト], the Baby Pigeon Pokémon. It looks like the generic Normal/Flying-type Pokémon of this generation. It has the Super Luck and the new Pigeon Heart [はとむね] abilities. It has a height of 0.3m and a weight of 2.1kg.
- Hihidaruma [ヒヒダルマ], the Flaming Pokémon. It’s obviously a Fire-type Pokémon. Its ability is a new one called Encourage [ちからづく]. It has a height of 1.3m and a weight of 92.9kg.
- Shimama [シママ], the Charged Pokémon, an Electric-type horse/zebra-like Pokémon. It has the Motor Drive and Lightningrod abilities as well as a new move called Wild Bolt [ワイルドボルト], a move that hurts the user as well, probably like a special Volt Tackle. It has a height of 0.8m and a weight of 29.8kg.
- Meguroko [メグロコ], the Desert Crocodile Pokémon, a Ground/Dark-type. It has the Intimidate and Earthquake Spiral [じしんかじょう] abilities, the latter raising the Pokémon’s Attack stat after an opponent is knocked out. It has a height of 0.7m and a weight of 15.2kg.
Apart from the Pokémon, more info about the new versions has been revealed, including:
- For the first time in the games, we see a female professor, Dr. Araragi [アララギ博士].
- There is a new feature called “Random Match” which can be accessed from the Global Terminal. It allows the players to battle random opponent’s around the country.
- There’s a new wireless connection type called C Gear which offers “various connection capabilities”.

- Zekrom is a Kokuin [こくいん = Black Yin] Pokémon, Dragon/Electric-type, with a new ability called Tera Voltage [テラボルテージ]. It is 2.9m tall and 345kg.
- Reshiram is a Hakuyou [はくよう = White Yang] Pokémon, Dragon/Fire-type, with a new ability called Turbo Blaze [ターボブレイズ]. It is 3.2m tall and 330kg.
- The Movie 13 Celebi unlocks a level 10 Zorua in B/W which knows Pursuit, Fake Tears, Leer and Scratch.
- Zoroark learns a new move, Night Burst [ナイトバースト] (lowers foe’s Attack if it hits), Fury Swipes, Faint Attack, Scary Face and Taunt.
