As announced today in the Pokémon Global Link website, the next Wi-Fi tournament for Black 2 & White 2 is here. Registrations for the 2013 Winter Friendly start on Thursday, February 7th and last until Thursday, February 14th. The participant limit is set at 50,000 this time; first come, first served as usual. The actual tournament will run from Friday, February 15th through Monday, February 18th. The 2013 Winter Friendly tournament is open to players of Pokémon Black 2 or White 2 worldwide and, unlike previous tournaments, it will not use the VGC rules. The battle format used will be Rotation Battles instead and every Pokémon (with the exception of Chatot) is allowed, including the often banned legendaries. All participants in the 2013 Winter Friendly will earn a Micle Berry.
