Serebii Wrote:The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. While pictures have yet to be posted, the information that has come out is set to reveal Mega Latios, Mega Latias as well as two brand new Megas, Mega Pidgeot and Beedrill. Images of these specific parts of CoroCoro are yet to come, so it's technically unconfirmed, but the leakers have shown other parts of CoroCoro giving credence to this. We'll bring more, and pics, as they come so keep checking back.
Edit @ 09:45: Mega Pidgeot is Normal/Flying-type with the ability No Guard and Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison-type with the ability Adaptability. You can fly on Mega Latios & Latias in the overworld and find Pokémon such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga & Palkia in the sky. Latios is exclusive to Omega Ruby and Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.

It has also been confirmed in an interview with NTower that, although X & Y are compatible with Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, X & Y will not receive a patch to include the new Mega Evolutions and Primal Reversions.

I spoke to Kaphotics, one of the programmers who found the Pokemon, and it appears the demo is a stripped-down version of the game from a programming perspective rather than its own thing. Many Pokemon models were ripped out of the demo along with descriptions for several new moves, but some scraps of data were still left in. As such, Mega Hoopa's full-blown model isn't actually in the demo's coding - the model you see to the right is a much smaller model that will be used for something else in the game. Gamefreak may have forgotten to remove it due to an oversight or in thinking that fans would not be able to go into the demo's coding. Alas!

We were also told that while it's probable this model is of Mega Hoopa, there's a chance it could be something else related to Hoopa instead (such as a forme). The Pokemon has an 80 BST increase, which goes against the grain for Mega Evolutions.

"Mega Hoopa" will know the move "Hyperspace Fury," a special Dark-type attack that always hits, does 100 damage, and has 5 PP. It still has Magician for its Ability. We previously revealed that regular Hoopa's signature attack is Hyperspace Hole.

The stats for Primal Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza's attacks were also revealed:

619 Precipice Blades - Ground Physical, 85%, 120 BP, 10 PP
620 Dragon Ascent - Flying Physical, 100%, 120 BP, 5 PP (effect code present, but removed)

Although much of the data was ripped out of the demo, including the name and description of the item, the pathways to allow the item to change Hoopa still remain.
